#BUBBLERUSH2020
We are very sorry to inform you all that Bubble Rush – Portsmouth has now been postponed to 2021.
This is following a decision by Portsmouth City Council not to allow any events to take place on its land this year, due to the ongoing situation with Coronavirus.
We have sent an email to everyone who had bought tickets with more information. If you haven’t received it please send us a message or email info@extreme-adventure.co.uk
We will look forward to being back at Southsea Common on 15th May 2021 and continuing to support Naomi House & Jacksplace.
Bubble Rush is a fun run with a difference – lots of coloured bubbles!
You’ll start in a sea of foam and then take on four different coloured bubble stations, where foam canons create an incredi-bubble 4ft bubble bath!
It’s not a race! You can run, walk, toddle or dance your way around the family-friendly course. The most important thing is that you finish with a smile on your face! 🙂
The event isn’t timed, so you’re not racing against anyone and there’s no time limit.
Bubble Rush is for everyone!
Bubble Rush is perfect for families and groups of all ages and abilities.
The course at Southsea Common is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, and there’s no minimum or maximum age limit.
The course is two laps of 2.5km, meaning that you’ll go through each bubble station twice – that’s DOUBLE the BUBBLES!
And new for 2020 – we’ve added bubbles to the finish too!
The Lead Charity of the Portsmouth, Andover, Southampton and Dorset Bubble Rush events is Naomi House & Jacksplace; hospices for seriously ill children and young adults living in Hampshire, Berkshire, Dorset, Surrey, West Sussex, Wiltshire and the Isle of Wight.
Naomi House & Jacksplace is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is there for families on good days, difficult days and last days. If you choose to fundraise for the hospices through your Bubble Rush participation, you’ll be helping the charity raise the £9.2 million it needs each year to provide respite, end of life care and bereavement support to families that need it most.
For more information or help with fundraising for Naomi House & Jacksplace, contact the charity’s fundraising team on: 01962 760060 or email: hello@naomihouse.org.uk
The first Bubble Rush – Portsmouth was foam-tastic! We can’t wait to see you all in the bubbles again in 2021!
